Senior Advisor Talent
A typical day in the Talent team involves reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, market mapping, negotiating job offers and collaborating with hiring managers. We strategise recruitment plans, support internal development opportunities for our people, attend networking events, and stay up to date on industry trends.
In addition to the daily tasks, we work on implementing new technologies, develop employer branding strategies with our communications team, conduct diversity and inclusion initiatives and create training programs for hiring leaders.
An interesting part of our role is analysing metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimise our internal and external talent management processes. This could involve tracking key performance indicators such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, succession planning to allow internal development opportunities within IGO and using this data to make informed decisions about talent management strategies and process improvements.
These activities enhance the employee experience to ensure that IGO can be a highlight for people’s careers.
