What's the biggest challenge that you face in your role and how do you overcome it?

My biggest challenge has, and no doubt will always be, educating others to better understand Aboriginal diversity. Especially those that haven't worked with Aboriginal people in community. Most of the time I get on with my role which can at times be challenging due to this lack of understanding. So it is important to educate people based on facts and also to share resources so they can educate themselves. There are times when I do experience frustration, but my line manager is my greatest supporter, he is awesome and always has my back. My older sister works in community also, so we rely on each other a lot. I have some great people that I work with also. I am a pretty positive person, and I try to draw from that pool. I do have the best job in the world, I wouldn't want it any other way. I know what I am doing (role wise) and I know what is required of me so that's half the job done.
