Thank you for your question. IGO is very invested in assisting staff to achieve and to improve skills not only for their daily duties, but also to help develop skills that may lead them into future roles or career advancement.

As a member of the mine site Emergency Response Team I am a qualified fire fighter, first aider, and search and rescue operator. I have also completed a huge amount of training for my roles at IGO, which include leadership and management training, vehicle operations, cultural training and various tickets associated with trades. I have obtained more training at IGO than the rest of my working career, and I am pleased to work for a company focused on the development of their people.
