Hello,
I had a unique onboarding experience as I was employed by Western Areas prior to the takeover by IGO. It was refreshing from a long term Western Areas Employee to be included and embraced by the IGO culture and Values. We were given a variety of feedback sessions, access to people and culture advisors for immediate queries and access to the document library to answer any specifics. It was amazing to see there was a great deal of thinking put into setting up the IGO structures to enable expansion into a larger organisation. I was concerned, coming from a smaller niche producer we would become another "BHP". IGO maintain a niche position and don't want to be overly bureaucratic, giving operations autonomy to do what they do best. As a "new" employee I have felt informed and included in the IGO culture with multiple electronic means of feedback and support. Starting as a new employee anywhere is daunting and sometimes confusing, IGO made our transition to the organisation simple and relatively trouble free.
Regards
Paul Seale
